  • Log in to your Workday account.
  • Click the global navigation Menu icon at the top left home page to access applications and shortcuts.  The Search Box at the middle of the home page makes it easy to search people, tasks, reports, and business data you would like to navigate to.

OVERVIEW:

This job aid demonstrates how to set up your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

STEPS:

  1.  When you log into Workday you will be prompted to set your MFA and you will see the below screen.

  1. Decide whether to use Email or SMS (Mobile Phone).
  2. Click on choice.
  3. If Email, you will see this.

  1. If your email is not correct click Back

Note: Use the job aid links below to update your contact info.

  1. Click Maybe later to log in.  Once logged in click Change My Contact Information, or Change My Contact Information ‘Mobile App’ to update your home address, email, and phone number.
  2. Log off and start at the beginning of setup, step 1
  3. If the email is correct click send to email.
  4. Open your email and get your PIN.

  1. Go back to the Workday Log-in screen and submit the Passcode to log in.

Note: You will continue to use email MFA going forward.

  1. If you select SMS (Mobile Phone).
  2. Skip to Steps 5 - 7, and follow the directions.
  3. If your number is correct select the mobile number and Mobile Carrier and complete.

  1. You will get a text message like this

  1. Go back to the Workday Log in screen and submit the Passcode to log in

Note: Using SMS (Mobile Phone) may not work for some carriers.  If you do not receive a pin within 5 minutes, click back and set the MFA to send to email.
