Log in to your Workday account.

The Global Navigation Sidebar is located on the left side of the Home page and remains pinned as you navigate through Workday. It features categorized navigation, allowing you to hover over each category to preview its items. If your view looks different, you may be using the alternative navigation setting. Both views contain the same menu options, but they may appear in slightly different layouts

The Search Box, located in the center of the Home page, allows you to quickly find people, tasks, reports, and business data you need to access.

This job aid demonstrates how to assign or change a worker's assigned Work Schedule. The Work Schedule is critical to determine workers’ overtime calculation and time of events.

Important: All workers must have an assigned work schedule on Workday.

Report: You can search “All Work Schedule Calendars” to view all work schedules available in Workday.

Reminder: The start date does not have to be the beginning of a pay period.
|

Assign a Start Date. If the End Date is not provided the selected schedule will remain unless/until it is changed/updated.

Note: The Current Work Schedule is displayed for reference.

Select the new Work Schedule Calendar you are requesting from the drop-down list. Many Work Schedule Calendars, such as 10-hour days, have been grouped (By Group) for easy lookup.

Click OK to submit.

Click View Details to review the next steps (approval).

Select Details and Process then Process.

Select Done to return to the Workday Landing Page.
Request a work schedule change as a timekeeper or manager (for a worker)

Search for the Worker you want to assign the Work Schedule (search by name or 10-digit employee ID number).

Assign a Start Date. If the End Date is not provided the selected schedule will remain unless/until it is changed/updated.

Note: Once the worker is selected their Current Work Schedule will be displayed for reference

From the drop-down list select the new Work Schedule Calendar you will be assigned to the Worker. Many Work Schedule Calendars, such as 10-hour days, have been grouped (By Group) for easy lookup.

Click OK to submit.

Click View Details to review the next steps (approval).

Select Details and Process then Process.

Select Done to return to the Workday Landing Page.
View My Schedule

Search for and select the My Schedule report.

This report shows any published shifts.
