- Log in to your Workday account.

The Global Navigation Sidebar is located on the left side of the Home page and remains pinned as you navigate through Workday. It features categorized navigation, allowing you to hover over each category to preview its items. If your view looks different, you may be using the alternative navigation setting. Both views contain the same menu options, but they may appear in slightly different layouts
The Search Box, located in the center of the Home page, allows you to quickly find people, tasks, reports, and business data you need to access.

When the Personal Information menu opens and Legal Name isn’t displayed in the Change section click More (7) to view more selections.

Click on Legal Name to open the Change My Legal Name window.

The Change My Legal Name window opens to display your current Legal Name information.
Keep in Mind: Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required. If others are required you will receive an error message.

Complete the applicable information related to your Legal Name Change (Examples: Effective Date, Last Name).

In the Attachments section use the drag and drop functionality to add the electronic file copy of your social security card in the Attachments box or click Select Files to choose a file location.

A brief description can be provided in the Description box. Select Legal Name Change from the list of options. Click on Upload to add additional file attachments.

Once changes have been made to the necessary areas and attachments are included, click Submit in the lower left corner to submit your changes for approval, if applicable. Or, Save for Later to come back and finalize (Submit) the process or Cancel to quit and discontinue (delete) the process.

Once submitted you receive a confirmation notice. Select View Details.

Click Details and Process then Process to review any next steps (review/approval, if applicable).

Click on Done to return to Personal Information.
