OVERVIEW:
This job aid demonstrates how to request Tuition Reimbursement.
NOTE: The visibility of sensitive information is controlled by individual users’ security profiles. Therefore, you may not have access to (all) the information within this Job Aid.
You will need the following items to attach to complete tuition reimbursement:
1. The pre-approval (the signed form from your department head)
2. Your grades
3. Documentation that showed what you paid: tuition and book(s)
Keep in Mind: Tuition Reimbursement Policy and Procedure is on the GCU website. GCU.cityofgainesville.org.
STEPS:
1. Log in to your Workday account.
2. In the Search (middle) window begins typing create request. Match results appear as you type. Select Create Request from the list.
3. Select All for the Request Type.
4. Click on Tuition Reimbursement
5. Click OK at the bottom.
6. Fill out the Tuition Reimbursement Questionnaire completely.
7. Use the drag-and-drop functionality to add the file in the Attachments box or click Select Files to choose a file from your computer.
NOTE: Copies of supporting documents (unofficial transcript and paid invoice) must be provided to HR for reimbursement).
8. Click Submit to submit your request to your manager.
9. If copies of supporting documents (unofficial transcript and paid invoice) were not attached, the following Alert will show after the submission and ask you to submit the copy. If the copies are not readily available on your computer, you can send the copy to HR via email or fax, or in person.
10. The next screen notifies you that you have submitted your request to your manager listed in the Up Next.
NOTE: You can print this page and the Details and Process pages. Click on the Excel or PDF icon in the upper right corner, then click Done.
Keep in Mind: You can Do Another by clicking on the Create Request.
Keep in Mind: For the task to be completed, it needs to go through the approval process. After All approvals the task is complete.
NOTE: You can monitor your status for the request by clicking, View Profile at the top right of the homepage,
Then, Job on the left side of the page
Lastly, Worker History tab on the far right of the page and view Status
