OVERVIEW:
This job aid demonstrates how to add or change your Workday Personal Information: gender, date of birth, marital status, race/ethnicity, or citizenship status.
NOTE: The visibility of sensitive information is controlled by individual users’ security profiles. Therefore, you may not have access to (all) the information within this Job Aid.
Keep in Mind: Some changes may require documentation and/or the approval of an HR Partner or other area before the process is completed.
STEPS:
1. Log in to your Workday account.
2. From the Menu icon window on the home page, click the Personal Information icon.
3. When the Personal Information menu opens, in the Change section click Personal Information.
4. At Change My Personal Information click on the pencil icon to Edit or change that area.
5. In the Primary Emergency Contact Legal Name field click Edit.
6. Select from the list of options or input your information then click the check icon to save. Repeat through each section (Gender, Date of Birth, Marital Status, Race/Ethnicity, Citizenship Status, etc.) to update/change.
7. Once additions or changes have been made to the required field, click Submit in the lower left corner to submit your additions/changes for approval, if applicable. Or, Save for Later to come back and finalize (Submit) the process or Cancel to quit and discontinue (delete) the process.
Alert or Error messages indicate additional action is required. Click on the Alert/Error for further instructions.
8. Once submitted you receive a confirmation notice. Select View Details.
9. Click Details and Process then Process to review any next steps (review/approval, if applicable).
10. Click Done to return to Personal Information.
