OVERVIEW:
This job aid demonstrates how to add or change your Withholding Elections information.
NOTE: The visibility of sensitive information is controlled by individual users’ security profiles. Therefore, you may not have access to (all) the information within this Job Aid.
Keep in Mind: Changes may require the approval of a Payroll, HR Partner, or other areas before the process is completed.
STEPS:
1. Log in to your Workday account.
2. In the Search (upper left) window begin typing withholding elections. Match results appear as you type. Select Withholding Elections from the list. OR
From the Menu icon on the home page, click the Pay icon.
3. When the Pay menu opens, in the Actions section click Withholding Elections.
4. When the Withholding Elections window opens select Update to make changes, if needed.
Keep in Mind: Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required. If others are required you will receive an error message.
5. At Complete Federal Elections verify Company.
6. The Effective Date will default to the current date. Change if needed (click on the calendar icon to select the date).
7. Click OK
8. Complete Steps 1-5 as needed.
9. When all steps are complete check I Agree.
10. Click OK
